26. Motek in Sinsheim

That was it then, the 26. Motek and only little wistfully we look back after Sinsheim. Not because of that qualitatively and quantitatively high-quality contacts, but because of the not completely optimal traffic route. For us the past six fairs, since we exhibited 2001 for the first time on the Motek, brought many different impressions. So my colleagues might prove their sauna restistance with the first participation 2001 still in the provisional tent. I had more luck with my first participation 2002 then, because the most modern hall stood already there, the hall 6. Unfortunately this hall was located somewhat remotely, so that we could often extend our short fair-nights in the morning. In our opinion it was the result of the unfortunate positioning of our booth which was located on an outer aisle and the likewise not completely successful visitor guidance. Anything the despite our experiences did not fail predominantly positively, even if only heavily in contacts, from this resulting conversion or rising numbers of employees can be expressed. If one makes the summary and regards itself thereby our customer master, it is noticeable that the Motek has here large influence. In memory probably remains also the Sickinger Hof in Walldorf in which we accomodated since 2002. Nice staff, good food and room in whom you can bear one week comfortably. Besides is also the Walldorfer city center inviting to walk, comfortably eat and also times to drink beer. With our exhibits we also left some experiments behind us. At first the opinion dominated, if we want to present our dosing technology optimally, we must show a robot, which demonstrates the speed-proportional applications. Since in the first two years however many wanted to buy robots in place of the dosing technology, we have decided to demonstrate this with „a record player“ as it was called by us. Different speeds could be changed by the visitor and their effect on the made appliaction be examined. Purpose was to demonstrate that with coupling with the travel speed the bead forming intensity remains always alike in the diameter. If one switches the coupling off, also the bead forming intensity changes with the travel speed, which can be also changed by the dispenser speed. This year had we in a brainstorming, as I mean, the ingenious idea, the visitor can move a crank to demonstrate that the bead forming intensity remains, no matter how fast it would be cranked.
Next year the Motek moves then into the new fair in Stuttgart. At the same time it will take place for the first time as attached adjoining exhibition the Bondexpo (fair particularly for sticking and sealing materials as well as associated dosing techniques). That we will naturally go through the jump to Stuttgart is beyond all questions. Whether we will however exhibit at the Motek or the Bondexpo from the beginning as new presentation platform is not decided yet. Where would you visit us gladly? On the Motek or the Bondexpo?
How did the Motek from your view as a visitor develop in the last years? Give us a short feedback.
